revolution in the wine industry in the 21st century.
Let the best Organic red wine sellers brief you about the two sides of the same
coin, for you to make a wiser decision on the next purchase of your favorite
wine:
ORGANIC WINE
The process is simple yet sacred ~ Growing, picking, and fermentation!
Organic wine is made of organically grown grapes. An organic farmer uses
different techniques to grow and maintain his vineyard instead of using
pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, or fungicides. What’s essential to the
growth of grapes is the absence of diseases, invasive species, and pests, and
achieving this with an organic -chemical-free approach is what produces organic
grapes.
These organically grown grapes can be used to make wines with the help of two
approaches-
1) By using conventional means but with a minimum of additives and labelling it
as ‘made from organically grown grapes’
Or
2) By modifying the conventional methods into organically winemaking practice
and label it as ‘Organic Wine’

IN-ORGANIC/ NON-ORGANIC WINE
These wineries uses herbicides and additives throughout the process of winemaking
without any controls in place. Not only this leads to an effect on the taste of
the wine it even disturbs the texture and acidity of the soil it initially grew
in. The presence of sulfite as an additive isn’t the end, it’s almost shocking
for the number of bizarre chemicals used in the process of nonorganic
winemaking.
Sulphur in Wines - The Dilemma
The most controversial topic among the two is Sulphur - The commonly used
additive that is mutually shared in both processes.
Sulfur
serves two main purposes. It prevents the wine from reacting with oxygen which
can cause browning and off-odors (oxidation), and it inhibits the growth of
bacteria and undesirable wild yeasts in the grape juice and wine.
While Non Organic wines obviously put no restrictions on the usage of it, Organic wines seize a balance between using enough so that the wine lovers cherish the fruity and crisp flavor of their wines but under certain limits.
